Long time no see!

Sorry guys for not updating my blog.. I've been very busy with both work and filming...till a point I think I'm going to faint....haha..anyway, todays post will be on all the things that I did for the past few days..so here goes...

Last wednesday night I had a filming...the scene is about me driving 龙嫂 around and we happen to spot 龙哥 riding a bicycle with a girl behind him.. so here are the pics..

* The Car I'm Driving...It's a Honda Civic ESI of course it's been mod before..so it's fast

* The Crew setting up the camera on the car..It's quite a time consuming process..looks as if they are fixing the car.

* Shot from inside the car..the person is fixing up the lens...

* Yup..that's me in the car...letting the camera focus on me..while I take this time to take a picture of myself..

* After a few rounds of driving and filming inside the car..Janet is wiping the window..apparently it's dusty..

* This is how the car looks from the inside...this scene we're filming is when 龙嫂 wants to get out of the car..

I didn't have a chance to shoot a picture of myself driving the car as I'm filming as well..so you guys can stay tune for the show...

Up next is the filming on Thursday morning....the scene is a conti of me fetching 龙嫂 to the hotel..where 龙哥 had planned a surprise for her...here are the pics...

* It's the car scene again.....this time it's at the driveway outside the hotel lobby...

* Yup...the arrival of the bridal car..where 龙哥 is sitting inside...

* This is the scene where 龙嫂 is being surprised by the jewelleries and wedding gown that 龙哥 had prepared for her.. the guy in red is the so call "make-up artist" in the show... The puffy thing on the bed is the wedding gown.

* The reason for this pic is because our dear asst AP doesn't know how to put on the bracelet for our actress...sigh..like that how to get a girlfriend or get married....

* Scenery taken from the hotel room.

I'll leave you guys with a montage that was made for the show...it's all the pictures that we took during the filming of the wedding scene that I've posted some time ago...I'm quite proud of it because most of the pictures inside were taken by me...So....enjoy!

Filming on 13/09/07

I missed a post yesterday as I was in a filming yesterday...This filming process is still undergoing and most of you should probably know the name of this drama...For those of you who still do not know.. it's called 黄金路.

Yesterday we were filming the wedding scene for one of the main lead and I can only say that most of us got burnt due to the scorching sun...without further ado..let me present the pics to you guys...

* The morning sun from mediacorp

* The director (Guy in white) briefing the bunch of 黑社会 brothers on what to do later...

* Travelling to the jetty at labrador park where we will be shooting the wedding scene....and yes it's very hot...

* After setting up...the jetty does really look like a wedding.. note that the bunch of brothers are standing in a row waiting for the bride and groom to arrive..the person in blue is our AP the guy in the green is the asst AP.

* Preparing to shoot the arrival of the bride and the groom..note that the "brothers" looks like they're going to die anytime..

* The bride and groom have arrived...awaiting to shoot the scene where the bride sees her mom..scorching hot sun above our heads..thank God for the guy holding the umbrella shielding the bride and groom..he is none other than our make-up artist...ah wee.. till now I don't think you all can clearly see the bride and grooms face..it shall be revealed later on..

* After a long period of time standing under the sun..the director ask the "brothers" to relax under shades...notice they are still clapping their hands and saying something..it's the dirctoe telling them to continue their lines while resting... They are actually shouting "亲一个! 亲一个!"

I didn't manage to capture the kissing scene as I'm inside the frame..can't possibly take out my cam to shoot..

* Finally!! After a whole morning under the sun we carried on our filming in the restaurant..for the wedding dinner scene..they are suppose to be drinking "alcohol" but after standing under the sun for so long..most of the "brothers" have red faces.. it makes the scene felt as if they've really drank alot of alcohol...

Ladies and gentlemen...the moment of truth..our groom of the day is.....

* 南星大哥!!! and his bride.. I call her by the name of "龙嫂"

* Ok...I know this pic may seem a little obscene..but they are filming the part where the groom gets saboed by the "brothers" It goes like this...the groom will have to drink the bottle of alcohol..and he can only stop drinking until the egg is transfered from one side of the pants to the other side... all i can say is it's pretty intense...

Well...that's all for today.. we only filmed until this part...next week we'll carry on with filming for the rest..can't tell you guys what happen after this scene...just stay tune ok!!

My Playground...

Gd morning everyone...ok..let's talk about our work. I myself work in a media company, my job is actually quite simple, I'm a production asst..so what does a production asst do? Well...here's my job scope.

• I assist my boss while on the job be it filming or anything
• Preparation for the upcoming jobs
• Manage the sound/recording studio
• Do editing on footage filmed
• Do trailers or corporate video if requested by clients
  

But actually, most of the time I'm so called "stuck" in the recording studio due to a recent job which requires intensive mixing. Without further ado...let me introduce my playground...

*The Recording studio that I'm stuck in.

Well as you can see..this is my humble "playground". This is the place where we do voice recording as well as mixing..The keyboard to the left is my favourite, why? Simple..it's used to vent my frustrations on. E.g. I can play the keyboard when I'm really frustrated. (They say music is a good way to vent your frustrations..and it's true!) Also, if a particular music is needed to be fitted into the recording and it happens that we don't have the suitable music for it, the keyboard will come in handy.

*At work..

It's actually very cold inside the recording studio. Reason? It's because we need the air-con to cool down the mixing board as well as the system. So working inside can be quite chilly...
